HELLO TUESDAY. "GO FOR IT. I HAVE YOUR BACK"

Anna: I wanted to pursue my passion. I want to go to other cities to embark on it...

Anna's father: You can always come back, baby.

Anna did it, left home, and pursued her career. The rest is history - doubts, fears, uncertainty (and it became a part of her journey each day as she became stronger).

After over 10 years, she has built her 4 global businesses with 500 employees, and her journey has just started.

Anna embarked on a new journey of working on herself even more to work with others better.

HELLO MONDAY ❤ THE 4 HABITS FOR A PRODUCTIVE JOYFUL DAY

THE 4 HABITS FOR A PRODUCTIVE JOYFUL DAY

‘Set intention’, ‘Block time’, ‘Release tension’ and 'Feel grateful'

#happyhighperformancehabits #jencoaching #rebirth

+ Set intention – set the intention of the day: the output you will create, the feeling you want to create, the person you will help

+ Block time – create protected periods for each task, for example:

Set a Pomodoro “time block” of about 50 minutes (many studies show that this is the ideal time to help the brain focus fully on a task).

Set an alarm to remind you to rest for about 5-10 minutes after 50 minutes, for example: meditate, walk around the office, go to the toilet…

To last the longest, you will find the time you sit and concentrate effectively, it can be up to 2 hours or many hours, but you know that to be sustainable – you will proactively set time to rest - and regenerate energy.

+ Release tension, reset the intention – release the tension/positiveness of the previous activity, and set the intention for the next activity: Before moving on to another activity, you will allow yourself to let the previous activity rest and create an intention for the new activity.

+ Feel grateful - thanks to the challenges, thanks to the unexpected things, thanks to the progress of you and others, thanks to life

And you, what habits help you to be happy and have high and sustainable working performance?

THE CUP HALF-FULL or HALF-EMPTY? 'AND' THE 3RD VIEW

THE CUP HALF-FULL or HALF-EMPTY? 'AND' THE 3RD VIEW

#Responsibility, Proactivity, Positivity #jencoaching

The first view - the first boy: There is a boy who went on a mission to buy a bottle of water for his mom, but he fell on the street on the way back home and lost half of the bottle of water. When he arrived home, he cried, cried, cried because he lost half of the bottle of water.

The 2nd view - the 2nd boy: Another boy went on the same mission and also had an accident, falling down on the street. However, he went home and remained positive, telling his mom, "Mom, I saved half of the bottle of water."

The 3rd view - the 3rd boy: The third boy also went on a mission to buy a bottle of water and fell on the street again. He went home and told his mom, "Mom, I'm sorry, I lost half of the bottle of water, but I saved another half. And you know what? I will work today to earn the money to buy the other half of the water bottle for you."

And your view? if you were the boy?

---

We often refer to the concept of 'The glass half-full or half-empty' concerning being optimistic or pessimistic. We can also see the view where we see both 'half-full and half-empty', and then we take action upon it. We call it positivity comes with responsibility and proactivity.

---

The third boy has a positive view, as well as taking responsibility and being proactive in taking action based on the lessons we learn through our experiences.

A positive view empowers us to see challenges as gifts and look for solutions.

Responsibility empowers us to take responsibility for the truth.

Proactivity empowers us to take action to move forward.

A great week for us with positivity, responsibility, and proactivity.

KINDNESS #SuperSundayNotes

'Hello, do you need a ride? It's raining and going to be storming like this...', an uncle called out when he saw Jen walking in the rain, on the morning of the day when Vietnam was preparing for a storm.

Jen thanked him and said Jendidn't need a ride because the house was near there.

'It's raining and about to storm, please go home safely...', the uncle said gently and drove away.

Thank you, uncle, for your kindness. Thank you to us.

During the stormy days, there are many stories of kindness: cars shunted together to help motorbikes avoid the wind on Nhat Tan bridge, or giving to motorbikes when going through windy places, a person sharing the whole apartment for those who couldn't get home in time to avoid the storm...

Thank you to all of us, for choosing kindness, in difficult times.

May we choose kindness, every day, when we are busy or if everything is going well.

May we choose being kind rather than being right in daily life too.

A 2018 study focused on employees at a Spanish company. Workers were asked to either a) perform acts of kindness for colleagues, or b) count the number of kind acts they received from coworkers. The results showed that those who received acts of kindness became happier, demonstrating the value of benevolence for the receiver.

1. Kindness releases happy hormones

2. Kindness can reduce anxiety

3. Kindness may help alleviate certain illness

4. Kindness can reduce your stress levels

PITSTOP in the NON-STOP journey❤

PITSTOP in the NON-STOP journey

Do you have Pitstops - stopping points that help you reflect upon the core of the nonstop journey - constantly living and experiencing? to make the next experience more effective and meaningful?

Pitstops - stopping points are quiet moments for you to contemplate, become an observer of what has happened, and think about your thinking habits. That can take place in the form of you doing it yourself (self-training) or doing it with someone like a coach a mentor or a teacher who believes in your potential. To be most sustainable, you need to practice that ability for yourself.

Jen has lived a nonstop life - nonstop to experience as much as possible. And the pitstops on that nonstop journey are when books are born - summarizing the practical and theoretical experiences at each stage of life.

1. PURPOSE - life mission (Nonstop living loving giving): the meaning of this life with Jen revolves around 'nonstop living loving giving', constantly living lovingly and giving: looking back on the journey of more than 20 years of dying and coming back to life 3 times, witnessing her siblings overcome difficulties to love and help each other, being transformed from nearly 20 years of being quiet to someone who likes to share, is positive, and smiles a lot...,

Feel the power of love and unconditional giving - can transform people, heal wounds, and create endless strength to overcome difficulties

2. Unleash your passion - Unleash your passion: Passion is created from non-stop action, in the things that have been done, and then a career is formed - which we also call passion. Experience an engineering career in international corporations such as Samsung, and Dell's partner, experience the power of knowledge transfer, then move to a life career - related to exploring and developing human potential through writing, training, sharing, and building community programs

3. Goal (the goal achiever - the 9 foundation mindset to achieve any goal): The power of setting goals based on mission, and core values and establishing a personal development plan, schedule, habits, and community to realize the goal. Goals are not goals, goals are a means of measuring who you become when you achieve your goals (The book is about Jen's experience when she won 2 Chevening and Erasmus scholarships and Samsung, and Vietnamobile scholarships... as well as Jen's lessons from the stories of Scholars who achieved their goals)

4. Leadership (Leadership development journey) - a journey to develop leadership potential: is a comprehensive picture and leadership according to the history of theory and practice from Jen's second master's thesis research in the UK, interviewing nearly 100 business leaders from Eastern and Western countries

5. Habits (30 days of changing habits) - high performance and happy working habits, summarized from her journey of shifting 'identity - identity' and from the stories of others that Jen helped on their journey of self-development 6. Success (Under the iceberg of success): What makes should be completely successful, what we don't see/don't recognize (below the iceberg) makes what we see (above the iceberg) - The startup story of 14 female business leaders

7. Self-coaching - Rebirth - everyone needs a C.O.A.C.H. (Rebirth - 5 habits of self-training leadership): 5 habits of self-training leadership with 34 questions, 34 training situations between you - the team, you - you. Re-birth the next 'X' years of our life to be fulfilled from the inside out

Wishing you all meaningful pitstops - stops, to summarize what we have experienced on the journey of experiencing life - discovering, and creating our real and fulfilled life. If you are at the point and need a perspective to activate your inner self more clearly, please join us for a 30-minute 'online/offline coffee' with jen and the team

SEEM TO HAVE EVERYTHING FROM OUTSIDE, AND NOT ONE THING FROM INSIDE?

SEEM TO HAVE EVERYTHING FROM OUTSIDE, AND NOT ONE THING FROM INSIDE?❤
#jencoaching #rebirth #everyoneneedsacoach
You always feel like something is missing inside even though
outside it looks like you have everything...
(A conversation between Jen and John – a successful entrepreneur
– at a business networking event)
Jen: What are you LOOKING FOR/LACKING?
John: Hmmmmmmmmmm….
Jen: (Keeps quiet and looks at John, hoping for the most honest
answer from John)
John:… (Shyly laughs) Oh yeah, I came here because I lacked something
right? I'm looking for resources for my business...
Jen: Yeah, you come here or some other community to FIND
THE, but not that...
(Jen continues to look at John and wants a deeper, more honest answer...)
John:... Hmmm, I haven't thought of that yet, we can talk
more deeply another day...
After that conversation, John invited Jen for Coffee, and we started a "Coaching" conversation to understand better
"what John was looking for".
John: I'm curious what made Jen ask me that question at the networking
the other day?
Jen: Is that important to you?
John: Wow, not really, I'm just curious why Jen
thought I was looking for something. Is it because I go there alone, or am I single?
Jen: Maybe... (Jen laughs, then gets serious again). More importantly: what made you pause, surprised, or troubled when being asked that question.?What made that question affect you so much?
John:… (Silence)
After a moment of silence, John began to share about his life and
business.
He started his career early and was “addicted” to work - he had a certain
success with 3 profitable businesses and
financial freedom. However, John’s love life was not the same, recently it even affected his
work.
In terms of love life, John met many girls but he did not
feel that they loved him for who he was. He always had to
“wear a mask” - showing success, generosity, understanding, and courage
to impress girls… While they were just demanding
and did not care about him. John felt tired of
having to show off. All his relationships eventually
didn't work out and even made his life
more miserable.

After 2 months with Jen, John realized that there was
a belief, a concept inside him that made him always try
to show things that weren't true to him.

He always wanted to prove that he was strong, that he was knowledgeable, that he was
successful... and it was those things that attracted those
people to him.

John decided to begin his journey of reconnecting with his core values by shifting his belief that there would be people who would appreciate and love him for who he is,
not for his status or possessions

tự do tài chính.

DOUBTS: A GREAT SIGN OF OUR NEXT LEVEL OF GROWTH

DOUBTS come as a sign of our next level of growth from the inside out. Thank you, DOUBTS

Yesterday, a dear friend talked to Jen, sharing how he was feeling doubtful about himself even though he had achieved the goal he set a year ago.

Occasionally he felt the doubts creeping in...Maybe you feel them sometimes too? You can join him and me in celebrating and thanking the Doubts for coming, as they prepare us for the next level of growth.

* Acknowledge the doubts: 'Thanks for coming and preparing me for the next level of growth'

* Observe and feel the doubts through the sensations in your body: 'I see you, thank you., You don't need to stay long or control me, you are free now'

* Detach from the Doubts: 'I am not you, doubts, thank you, we are free now'

* Reconnect with what matters and express gratitude for what you have accomplished

* Take the first step with peace, focusing on what matters most

PASS IT ON

Lucy: What I should do with all this knowledge I have accumulated?

Professor Norman: “… If you think about the very nature of life — I mean, at the very beginning, the development of the first cell divided into two cells — the sole purpose of life has been to pass on what was learned... There was no higher purpose. So if you’re asking me what to do with all this knowledge you’re accumulating, I say… PASS IT ON…”

No matter where we are now in our journey, we can choose to PASS IT ON our kindness, appreciation, and experiences to others in our shared journey.

Thanks and congrats to dear teammates for taking the important steps in the shared journey of making personal development the way of life...

HELLO SEPT - FREEDOM - A STORY OF JEN'S MIND AND THE CAT IN THE DISH BAG ❤

Hello Sept #FREE OUR MIND#

A STORY OF JEN'S MIND AND THE CAT IN THE DISH BAG

Hello September, freedom month, freedom week, freedom day, freedom moment... from within us. Wishing us, in Vietnam - where there is a day to celebrate the country's independence and freedom, or wherever we are from, to continue to practice freeing our minds, to be our true and best selves.

In the last days of last month, Jen was in a practice program on the mind - changing the ineffective habit patterns of the mind. There is a crucial rule in the program that all participants do not talk to each other during the program (except for the closing session), allowing each person to have silence to observe their minds more deeply.

Every day, participants practice from 4:00 am to 9:30 pm, with one main meal, lunch. Each person has a fixed seat and a set of dishes to get food, then wash the dishes themselves, put them back in their bags, and put them back on the table.

Jen often has lunch, and usually comes after everyone else has almost finished eating. Jen is generally the last one to sit down, sitting down to rest or walking to digest before going to take a lunch break.

During that lunch, there was another student who had participated in a similar program before, who was also staying in the dining area with Jen.

She sat in the front row, 4 tables away from Jen. She sat on the row to Jen's left.

Jen and the lady just sat there...

Then Jen - me, myself - experienced a short 'movie' in the mind...

---

Where we lived and practiced during the program, there were often stray cats, and the cats usually came to places where people lived. When we ate they came to where we ate. When we practiced they came to where I practiced.

---

While the dear lady and I were sitting there in relaxation, my ears suddenly heard a louder-than-usual cat meowing, and I came to have the perspective that there was a cat in the dining area - even though I hadn't seen it and had no intention of looking or searching.

And I went looking for evidence to prove that conclusion - and I saw that evidence - amazing - it was the food bag on the table opposite the table where the lady was sitting.

The food bag was heaving - unusually. The heaving of the food bag was big enough to feel like there was a cat in it. And in my mind, a scene from a 'movie' was created - the cat got into that utensil bag, enjoying the comfort of the ceiling fan above...

Oh, in my mind I argued, but why did the cat get into that bag, and not another bag...That bag was not closed, and there was a fan above, so the cat could enjoy the coolness...

Oh, then why did the cat have to get into the bag, not outside to cool off...That's right, because cats, they like to get in there too...

In short, no matter what you want to ask, there is a high possibility that the cat is in there...

Well, well, you are practicing purification and changing your mind's reaction to things. Are you creating your own story seeing something the way your mind wants it to be instead of seeing it as it is?

Maybe, but no, look, the lady is also looking at the bag - to see if there is a cat...

Well, well, my friend, what's wrong with having a cat, what's wrong without a cat? Just sit there, and focus on what you're doing, which is just sitting...

Yes, yes, yes, but...

But what? Ok, let's say there is a cat in there. What do you do...

Not doing anything, ..., I don't intend to tell the lady. I just feel like I need to do something because the cat is in there - playing with another student's food. If they don't know, tomorrow they will eat those dishes...

So what...

Is that okay, they need to know that I have to do something...

Ok, so did the lady do anything? She was sitting so close to the bag. She would know if there was a cat or not. She is a former student - experienced. She would know how to behave - so as not to disrupt breaking the rule of complete silence in the course...

Yes, maybe because of the need to be silent, she hasn't done anything yet... in short, instead of thinking too long, I need to do something It's best to check if there's a cat - if there is, go tell the course manager (In this program, students are not allowed to talk to each other, but if there's something really important, you can tell the course manager).

So let's stand up, what are we waiting for...

I breathed harder than usual. My body was filled with a feeling of needing to do something... I stood up, walked up to the dear lady, and looked inside the bag...

And it was wonderful, my mind was satisfied with the truth - there was no cat in the bag ^^

The lady looked at me when she saw me walking up and looking at the bag...

Both the lady and I adjusted ourselves to go into silence, not even making eye contact - according to the rules of the program. Everything returned to its original state, and the lady and I continued to sit and rest at our own pace.

The long conversation above took place for a few minutes... in my mind. And I reacted instead of observing things as they were with equanimity - one of the focuses of our practice program.

What was in that bag, was not the cat, but more 'my own mind'.

The pattern of my mind over the years, trying every day, determined to finish, to complete... From one perspective, it was great. Thank you, the old pattern. At the same time, from another perspective, she also created a habit pattern of drawing up challenges herself - to solve them herself. She has combined real-life challenges, and relentless action, to deal with challenges she has created herself.

Congratulations and thank you, for looking at yourself from a different perspective every day…

Wishing you to turn the practice of using the power of the mind into a lasting and effective way…

Wishing you and me to practice freeing our minds every day…

Thank you, us

#FREE OUR MIND-THỰC HÀNH GIẢI PHÓNG TÂM TRÍ#

MỘT 'ĐOẠN PHIM NGẮN' TÂM TRÍ CỦA BẠN JEN VÀ CON MÈO TRONG TÚI ĐỰNG BÁT ĐĨA

Chào tháng 9, tháng tự do, tuần tự do, ngày tự do, khoảnh khắc tự do...từ bên trong chúng ta.

Chúc bạn và tôi, chúng ta, thực hành giải phóng tâm trí chúng ta mỗi ngày…Quyết liệt hành động đi cùng Biết ơn, Bình an hài hòa.

WISH SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW A HAPPY DAY

You go into the café, you secretly wish the person sitting next to you happiness.

You walk on the road, you secretly wish the person walking next to you happy.

You go to the office, you secretly wish your co-workers happy.

You 'sow seeds' of happiness to someone you don't know, every day - you are sowing seeds of happiness for yourself.

---

Sitting in my favourite coffee shop today, I saw a young girl who looked very sad. I remembered a habit I love: ‘Secretly wishing someone to be happy’. I sent her my wish that everything would be ok; that everything would be fine.

Later on, suddenly, I saw someone standing next to me, it was the same girl. She asked me for a charger…I didn’t have an iPhone charger and I recommended her to ask the waiters. She went to ask and finally, she could charge her phone. As she returned to her seat, she continued sitting and her face looked as though she was wondering about something. Suddenly, I saw her smiling…

I hope the girl feels well…

I hope you feel well…I hope every one of us feels well no matter what is happening because everything comes as a gift for our awareness, growth, and joy….

CONTINOUS DEVELOPMENT: CONTINUOUSLY DEEPEN AND DIVERSIFY CORE VALUES

CONTINOUS DEVELOPMENT: CONTINUOUSLY DEEPEN AND DIVERSIFY CORE VALUES to create value for life with Ms. Huong Thu Nguyen

As a kid, thanks to Ms Hương for her spirit of physical, mental, and intellectual training through the movie Beautiful Secretary.

In 2020, thanks to her for her spirit of determination to always choose the difficult path, constantly creating value with business and community activities when she shared her story in the book Under the Iceberg of Success.

In 2024, in the creative co-working space where BK Holdings' innovation activities take place, thanks to her for being a testament to the spirit of continuous innovation to deepen, broaden, and diversify core values.

Every day, thanks to her for being a real person... You and Jen too!

====

(Excerpt from a share by Ms. Huong in the book Under the Iceberg of Success, Jen VuHuong)

"Life is like a compressed spring; you will overcome more spectacularly. Like Oprah Winfrey said, there will be times when you are thrown to the bottom regarding health, relationships, or money. If you overcome that challenge, you will succeed. When I am compressed deeply, with a fierce spirit trained partly from playing sports, I will focus and be determined to overcome.

When I am compressed and face challenges, I often call for help myself and then ask for help from those around me.

When she said she was asking for help, it meant she was reconnecting with herself - asking herself: (1) Who do I want to be in this life, and what do I want to do most? (2) What am I strongest at, and what do I lack and need to supplement to become the person I want to be? (3) Is the environment I am living in and my current relationships suitable and favorable to help me develop into the person I want to be? These questions were partly formed during her development process and then combined with her studying and researching the field of human development, branding, and strategy./-strong/-heart:>:o:-((:-hShe recalled that after she won the title of Miss Sports, she challenged herself to become an MC. She wanted to host a program for a television station. She experienced the biggest career shock of her life. At that time, she had just started working at the TV station, but because she had the title of sports beauty, she was also given many good opportunities to host programs. At that time, she accepted to host a very big program at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace. She was quite subjective, did not research and prepare well, and did not practice on stage in advance. On the day of the event, because she was not familiar with the stage and lacked knowledge, after introducing the name of the song by musician Phu Quang, the stage lights shone directly on her; she immediately stood still, her head was blank. The whole room became completely silent for nearly 10 seconds. After that, the audience applauded and cheered. Then she came back to her senses and apologized to the audience, saying, "This is the first time Huong has been an MC, so I hope the audience will sympathize." After the program, on the way home, she wanted to give up terribly. She felt ashamed, thinking "she is a sports beauty, but she cannot speak, no different from a mobile vase." She cursed herself, saying "You are so incompetent..."

After a while of cursing herself, her car passed Uncle Ho's mausoleum. She suddenly had a thought in her mind, "If I give up just because of that one mistake, then I will always be incompetent for the rest of my life. Everyone will say I am not capable. So what I can do differently is to prepare better next time." At that time, she determined that she would need to become an excellent MC at the TV station; she needed to be more confident and consolidate her knowledge. So after determining what she wanted to become, she would have to assess what she was good at and what needed to be improved, and whether there was a good environment to develop... Like her at that time, the TV station environment was good for her to develop her role as an MC.

She used a strategy of diversifying her brand by diversifying her core values! So when reaching a certain peak, she immediately needed to diversify her core competencies. For example, if you study journalism at that time, you can be a good MC. When you change to a new career, you have to learn more about business administration, learn about personal branding, learn about research, learn about strategy. Like football player David Beckham, he knows how to diversify his brand. When he is at his peak, he participates in other fields to diversify his image and abilities, such as a coach or brand ambassador.

I always choose the difficult path because it will be less competitive. And although it's more challenging, after a long time, you will see its results.

I want to create a market myself that also meets customer needs. That is also the reason why I established two networks for entrepreneurs: Business Style International Network - BSIN and Women Leaders International Network - WLIN.

...."

...Ms Hương identifies and lives every day with the philosophy of business and life - professionally, sincerely, kindly, and patiently...

Every day is a new journey to continue expanding and deepening core values... thereby creating value for life

Wishing you, Jen, and all of us the best together!

***

Chúc bạn, Jen và tất cả chúng ta cùng chị Hương tiếp tục sống với giá trị cốt lõi ngày càng được làm sâu và rộng để trải nghiệm cuộc sống ý nghĩa giá trị nhất.

THE REBIRTH JOURNEY

THANK YOU

for being a part of our shared journey of being REBORN, each day, together!

+ Life lets us discover ourselves and, more than create ourselves, every day;

+ You give everything you have completely and nurture it from within;

+ Human potential seems to be endless;

+ We all have untapped potential;

+ Your "personality" creates your "life personality". Personality can change when you find a big and important reason in life;

+ Success, happiness, and prosperity are like the sky and atmosphere - endless, and every one of us deserves to enjoy them;

+ If you succeed, I succeed, our success increases and is complete.

+ We move to a different "layer" of thinking than the one that created you in the last "X" years of life to be reborn in the next "X" years!

PERSPECTIVES

#gratitude Thursday #PERSPECTIVES

'We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them. – Albert Einstein." (We then need to raise to the next level of thinking...then action, habits and people we meet...)

One weekend our team, including people from different generations and coaches, had the opportunity to work with a successful entrepreneur (he started doing business when he was in grade 7, and he has the highest level of financial freedom now) to help him determine his next level of development.

(And you, who are reading this - what is your next level of development?)

We invite you to join the entrepreneur and reflect on your next level of growth through the following 'coaching' conversation:

Coach: How do you see yourself in 5 years?

Coachee: I see myself as an inspirational person who empowers others to broaden the vision for themselves.

Coach: What makes that important to you?

Coachee: I don't need to work anymore…I'm financially free, I could retire now, but I feel that I need to do something more. I still feel that I want to do something bigger than just make more money. I want to help more people - on a larger scale just not in my province, who are like me when I was much younger, to create a better life for themselves…and create a new standard for this field…

Coach: What makes it so important to do it this way…can it be done another way (or through this industry)?

Coachee: Because it's my industry…It's what I do every day…I want to keep doing something related to it…but making an impact on another level.

Coach: What does that impact look like specifically?

Coachee: I will get people to broaden their horizons and think bigger for themselves; I will set a good example of producing results, I will make them believe in themselves.

Coach: Where are you on that journey on a scale of 0 to 10?

Coach: 6

Coach: What made you a '6' and what would your mindset and skill set look like if you were at '10'?

Coachee: I have to become a leader who creates other leaders, I have to acquire communication skills, system thinking level in a bigger scale…

Coach: What else?

Coachee: And the people I may meet...

----

The next day, to create the environment for him to think from a new level of thinking – a leader makes other leaders: we let him experience an activity in which he would lead 3 people (who are strangers - not his team in reality) and he needs to invite them to join his mission - like the 'generals' in his team.

He walked in to chat with them and immediately he talked about all the tasks that he would assign to each person: person 1 will have 3 tasks, person 2 will have 3 other tasks, …Then he asked 3 people to share what they needed to complete the task.

After that activity, we asked 3 people – how did they feel about the experience from the above activity. They feel that based on their short experience in the past activity, if they work with him, they will work because he can help them secure a living, more than working as ‘generals’ – working on developing themselves to create better results

When he looked back at his performance in this activity – he felt he acted at the level of telling people what to do rather than creating an environment to find out each person's 'potential'…He not yet positioned himself from the level of a ‘leader’ who creates other leaders…

At the end of the workshop, his new thinking and positioning is not about delegating tasks to people but empowering thoughts from others…starting from listening and asking questions to understand others…

Wish us to experience different dimensions of life, not stay stuck in one way of seeing things, and go beyond challenges and limitations.

A great week heading to 2024 for all of us

Life gives us GIFTS wrapped in so-called PROBLEMS

* A GIFT wrapped under my injury while running a 112km trail*

At the end of 2023, I joined the 75km trail to experience an organized trail running program as before that, I always only ran on my own every day, with one longer run every week than usual.

For 75km, the race starts at 3am morning till the next day. For 112km, the race starts at night 6:00 p.m and run through the night until the next day.

In early 2024, to celebrate the birth of the book Rebirth and my birthday, I participated in a 112km trail to experience the journey of connecting day and night with mother nature, and finding the rythem within me and the outside. This is the year I am practicing harmonizing things within me, the empowering and disempowering of my ego, my identy, my beliefs, capabilities and the outer world – with others – with the universe.

After running more than 2/3 of the 112km journey, I felt a sharp pain in her right leg, a feeling of a stretched ligament. I tried to keep running, until the throbbing feeling became stronger. My intuition told me that I had to do something about it otherwise it would turn out not good.

I decided to rest and wait for her Athlete Support (also a trail coach), to pass by and ask him to borrow salonpas, to stick them in the pain part and then continue the race.

This injury gave me a gift – a conversation between two coaches: the trail coach and the human development coach – Jen, myself (I later realized it was more of my ego part).

The conversation is like a gift of perspectives for me to practice better on the journey of HARMONIZING different parts of me, my ego, my beliefs, my identity, my action...

When I got to my place, the trail coach checked my foot condition.

Trail Coach: You have a sprain. It's almost time for the coming checking point. The doctor will take a look again. In my opinion, for the best for your legs, you should not continue running the rest of the way.

(I felt like stopping because of something my ego called minor - a sprain - had never entered my mind.)

Human Development Coach – Jen (more than Jen's ego): I just need salonpas, or is there a temporary way to fix it, and let me go the rest of the way.

Trail coach: I sprayed cold on the sprain and it was swollen because you tried to walk. Salonpas can't help you. You can run, but it can create bad consequences for you.

Jen: What's the most serious thing that will happen?

Coach: I can't say for sure, it depends on your current condition and your constitution; When we sprain but continue to exercise vigorously, it can lead to torn ligaments, or chronic ankle pain, or inflammation..., the doctor at the checking point will tell you more; But the bottom line is that you shouldn't keep running when having injury this way

Jen: Is there a way to keep running, and limit these effects…

Coach: I'm not sure about this. The doctor will give you more advice, but do you really need to finish this run? The life game is long, it's not just this game...

Jen: The game is long, interesting perspective, thank you

Coach friend: The life game is long, there are many other opportunities for you to run, and most importantly, you have experienced the essense of 112km, running through the night, do you see if it is worth trying to run such a long distance when your legs are like this? y

Jen: Thank you, I want to finish, I don't have the habit of giving up halfway if I choose to play at the first place

Trail coach: It is not about giving up the race, but more about giving up on doing tempary things that have bad consequences for the long run. The game is still long, if you don't give up the risk of this one play, you may lose all opportunities for the long game of a lifetime...

Jen: ….

Trail coach: How did you prepare for this 112km race?

Jen: (Laughs), I don't have specific preparations, I prepare for my whole life (laughs), I exercise every day, I used to climb mountains every day when I was in Malaysia for 2 years

Trail coach: Apart from preparing for your whole life, do you have your own activities to prepare for this and does anyone coach you?

Jen: I haven't, I usually listen to my body and my intution, I also ran 75km and didn't prepare anything, and now for 112km, I coached myself

Trail coach: If you had an intensive training itinerary to prepare for this 112km run, I would undertand the feelings of having to continue. In this case, If you haven't completed the last kilometers of it, to be safe, is it worth it? to be able to participate in another, long-term game...?

I agree, you listen to your body, but do you also know that this trail running sport is classified as an risky sport? 75km or 80km may be ok, if you are in good physical condition and often exercise; But when it comes to 100km or more, running through the night, you will need to prepare more carefully. If you don't have a coach, you will have to research it carefully, especially the safety aspect. I think that because trail running is like a Master's or Doctoral program, you also need to appreciate and prepare for it in a worthy way, instead of treating it like one class session.

Jen: I'm stubborn, and rely on my regular exercise and my mental fitness... I've never had a sprain even though I'm stubborn, in all of my other risky sports...

Coach: So today can be a lesson for you to work more effectively, sometimes we not only listen to our body mind – our inside, we can take advantage of the outside, to even support the inside better, right?

THANK YOU FOR the GIFT wrapped under my injury: PERSPECTIVE FOR me to see the ineffective side of determination, perseverance, persistence, and not giving up. On the one hand, it helped me connect and firmly believe in my intuition and my body; and in all things I have done. On the other hand, it is not effective when I use it to challenging the rules of society or the universe. It rooted when I was a child I was often told I couldn't do this or that. I have created my own mechanism to always do the opposite to challege the outside world.

Because there is no harmony, I have used challenging the outside world, with rules or things that can help my self-understanding and self-listening become more effective.

Reflecting on today's injury, I observed that the moment it happened was when I had to speed up to get to one check point; even though before that I was very slow and relaxed and didn't focus on my steps when running. That state of mind of mine has, to a certain extent, caused me to receive experiences on the physical body.

I also realized that stopping and not running is much more challenging for me; because I'm afraid of being judged, most importantly, my ego that never gives up doesn't want that. That's why I feel like I need to do what I'm afraid of.

What do you feel about your story? Would you keep running if it were you?

Can you see the blind spots in your choices or beliefs or habits?

An open, honest dialogue with yourself, or with someone positive, who wishes you well; can help you gain more perspective!

SUPER SUNDAY GRATITUDE NOTES WITH JEN: GRATITUDE LETTER TO TEAM

GRATITUDE

#SuperSunday #GratitudeNotes with #jen

Who would you write a 'thanks letter' to today?

I am writing to you and Team...

'Thank you, Team, who has co-created a meaningful journey for each individual and each working partner.

Thank you, each beautiful soul, for joining our shared journey by choosing to:

+ Experience life to the fullest in our way and together through each thing we do each day, and yes through our shared platforms;

+ Unleash and nurture the 'giant' of possibilities, joy, peace, and love within us through our every thought, belief, behavior, and habit;

+ Trust in the journey, in ourselves and others because we are life, we are love, we are possibilities, we are joy, we are all that can name and cannot name: we have it all within us to harmonize with the outside;

+ Wake up each day with gratitude for having more chances to live up to build the life we deserve and are worthy of and go out to act upon it;

+ Go throughout the day with intention, appreciation, and knowing that we are walking in our way, together, and every challenge happens is for our perspectives, growth, and joy; and enjoy every moment of life;

+ Go through each challenge and hard moment with gratitude and mindfulness;

+ Go through each uncomfortable moment with gratitude and not take it personally because you are life, you are bigger than any temporary things so you can go beyond the situations and challenges with new behaviors and skills if needed;

+ go to sleep each night with gratitude for what we have done, what life will bring to us, and the moment right now;

And being thankful that we have gifts from life: emotions 'fears, doubts, tiredness, ..., and excitement, joy...' as signs for our next level of growth, awareness, and enjoyment; feel what comes, fully, acknowledge it, then go through it with gratitude and courage.

Thanks to the Team for making it happen 'j.e.n books co-creators' where we can hold 'knowledge, experiences and wholehearted work' of individuals having over 10 years experience in a particular field in our hands.

Thank you Team for practicing the above things together through 'j.e.n books co-creators', where we can 'hold in our hands' the 'knowledge, experience and compassionate experience' of individuals with more than 10 years of experience. experience in a certain field.

We have achieved the fullest experience in life together, and created 'masterpieces' together!

Super Sunday Notes: Abundant Mindset

#SuperSunday #Gratitude #Notes

ABUNDANCE MINDSET

Do you take action each day with an inabundant mindset: you work on achieving a goal because you are not worthy so you have to prove OR an abundant mindset: you work on a goal because it is important, you are worthy, and have that potential?

(the starting point of your actions – your state of mind, leading to the ‘results’ you receive)

---

Situation: a coachee has kept feeling like something is missing, and that feeling keeps growing as he achieves different goals. Yesterday, I had a conversation with the coachee about the coachee's starting point when taking action to achieve a goal. You join us to contemplate if you have ever experienced the same feeling as the coachee.

I use the metaphor to describe the situation of a person who plants a forest to simulate different states of the coachee’s journey.

• Journey of stage 1: You wake up every day and you feel: Oh, I'm not good enough, maybe I have something, but many people are better, all in all, I'm not good enough; So I have to plant this tree so that one day it will become a forest. Day after day, you wake up and 'recite' that thought, before taking action to 'plant' or 'fertilize'. One day, you finish planting the forest, you feel a little proud, then you look around, and you see there are many people with more forests than you, you continue to say 'I'm not good enough, I need to plant another forest...'

And your life continues to ‘realize’ and ‘prove’ with the ‘thinking’ NOT GOOD ENOUGH SO I MUST… THEN I WILL SEE GOOD ENOUGH. You feel like the seed of the thought 'IT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH SO I MUST... THEN I WILL FEEL GOOD ENOUGH' has grown into a forest of ancient trees, covering all other thoughts, making you keep feeling like something is not enough, something is missing.

Or have you moved into a state…

• Journey of stage 2: Oh, that's it, there's no need to do anything to prove it, just leave it like that, to relieve fatigue...

At first, you feel good.

After a while of not doing anything, you find yourself falling into relaxation and indolence, you get bored, you feel itchy, and you feel like something is bothering you, as if you were running away from something, not having resolved the root of your state 1...

You move into another stage, ask and answer by yourself, to get to the 'root' of the emotions experienced in stages 1 and 2...

• Journey of the Stage 3:

You read books, go to school, consult others, learn new 'tools', attend 'programs'...

You ask yourself: what do you plant forests for?

Your answer: to prove to everyone that I am more confident

You ask yourself: now that the world and the universe acknowledge that you are confident, what will you do next?

You answer: hmmm…

You ask yourself: will you continue to plant forests...

Your answer: I don't know, let's see...

You ask yourself: so continue waiting...

Your answer: hmmm, I've been waiting for a long time, I'm bored, and I keep seeing something bothering me.

You ask yourself: what will you do if you get stuck?

Your answer: don't know

You ask yourself: when will you know, then keep calculating

Your answer: If you want to know now, maybe continue planting forests

You ask yourself: before you said you don't need to prove it anymore, why plant a forest...

Your answer: Well, I don't need proof, but I like planting forests

You wonder: without proof, still planting forests, so what is the reason?

You answer: because you like the experience of planting forests

You say: so just do it

You ask yourself again: wait, what will that experience bring? Can you do something else?

You answer: I like the experience of planting forests

You wonder: what will you experience when you plant a forest?

Your answer: experience the action of choosing seeds, nurturing plants, and then creating a place for all species to live together...

You wonder: what does that place feel like...

You answer: connection, love, possibility, positivity…

You wonder: what plants should you plant to get that feeling...

Your answer: it is more about the mindset when planting trees...

You wonder: You mean, like Stage 1, planting with the mindset of 'not enough, not confident yet...'

Your answer: Yes, but change the mindset, now it will be a mindset of being able, connected, loving, and positive, just do it, because it's necessary, don't have to do it to prove it, just do it...

And then you move to the next stage

• Journey of Stage 4: I CHOOSE TO EXPERIENCE PLANTING THE FOREST to experience life, I have potential, and planting forests has benefits for me and possibly for everyone. Every day my job is to ENJOY to the act of planting a forest and experiencing what happens in the process.

A great week for us all, doing anything with the abundance mindset: the mindset of possibility, worthiness

OUR 'TEAM-MATES' ARE EVERYWHERE

#SuperSunday #Notes

OUR 'TEAM-MATES' ARE EVERYWHERE ❤

We have TEAM-MATES everywhere we go, in every setting we are in—have you often experienced this feeling?
Each person and each thing on our daily journey is our 'team-mate.'

When you step out of the building, the key, the door, and the security guard are your 'team-mates.'
When you run on the road, the road, the trees, and the people running around you are your 'team-mates.'
When you work, you have your workplace; your office, your team members, and your partners are your 'team-mates.'
When you read messages or articles online, your phone and the Internet are your 'team-mates.'

Things that happen unexpectedly are your 'team-mates,' allowing you to experience how you behave, better understand what's deep inside you, and gain more insight into others and the life around you.
People's comments and your inner thoughts are your 'team-mates,' helping you gain a new perspective on life.

Everything comes and goes through the 'door' of your mind, and you have the right to choose to thank that 'team-mate,' experience and feel that 'team-mate.' If they have completed their mission—helping you learn something about yourself, people around you, or life—you thank them and let them take a rest if needed, and continue moving forward in life.

Wishing us to turn our road, our family, our company, and our surroundings into 'team-mates' for this journey of experiencing life.

"Leap onto the path to greatness by beginning now rather than waiting for greatness to come before taking action.”

Have you sometimes found yourself thinking about doing something one day but realizing that you can do it now?

Jen: What brings true fulfillment to your life?

Coachee: I can pursue a new career with more impact on people while still providing for my family.

Jen: Let's start by talking about your family. Could you elaborate?

Coachee: I would take my family to various places.

Jen: What would follow?

Coachee: Laughter, smiles, and shared memorable moments.

Jen: Their smiles and quality time together are what matter most.

Coachee: Exactly, creating great moments together.

Jen: It's crucial that they feel the significance of these shared moments, ideally in beautiful places.

Coachee: Indeed.

Jen: Are you actively spending quality time with your family?

Coachee: Honestly, not as much as I should.

Jen: Do you wish to put off creating memorable family experiences until someday in the future?

Coachee: No, I don't.

Jen: How do you plan to make it happen sooner rather than later?

Coachee: By starting now, prioritizing my family.

Jen: What concrete steps will you take to show that care?

Coachee: Scheduling regular talks, perhaps every two days...

Jen: What else can you do?

Coachee: Acknowledge their calls; currently, I often hang up...

Jen: What's your immediate plan?

Coachee: If I missed their call, text them.

Do you sometimes find yourself, like the Coachee, find yourself thinking about doing something one day but realizing that you can do it now?

This is a habit that he carries over into his work, delaying advancement until he feels sufficiently ready.

He understood the value of making little changes going forward after our conversation.

(Context: People who have thought about but have not yet taken action on long-standing goals will find particular value in this viewpoint. )

Happy Sunday and a great new week for all of us!

WE CO-CREATE STORIES THAT LAST, EACH DAY

WE CO-CREATE STORIES THAT LAST, EACH DAY

#SuperSunday #Notes

Today, our Toastmasters family can tell stories about the journey of DTM (Distinguished Toastmasters - the highest level of TM development), a program under the project of future DTM Hieu Phung.

Thank you for the life stories of the DTM brothers and sisters and those who shared the stories.

DTM Daniel's story: from the habit of 'introvert' to practicing the habit of 'extrovert'. When there is a big enough reason: for his teammates, for the common purpose of the organization - he needs to make a presentation, he will not let his preference for 'introvert' or 'extrovert' be a barrier. As a manager, he needed to speak effectively with partners – to win customers, and to connect with teammates and partners – he trained his speaking skills to do his role effectively. Are you letting any of your old habits (for example, the habit of being introverted and not practicing extroversion when needed) be a barrier to an important goal of yours?

Mr. DTM Tien Trinh's story: cherish and continue the journey, instead of thinking you have reached your destination. After achieving DTM, and being the only Vietnamese person to attend an event in the US, DTM Tien Trinh was asked by a successful businessman at the age of 43, 'How many DTM do you have'. Mr. Tien Trinh recognizes those who continue to contribute to the community, they continuously develop themselves, and having a second, third, and fourth DTM... is a manifestation of them continuing that relentless journey, and helping others do the same.

DTM's story - Uncle Jimmy Thai: a Vietnamese who achieved the American dream - he was once given a small amount of money by a stranger at a difficult time, with the message 'Do that to someone later when you grow up'. He was inspired by that kind act and message and has been building a school to support children in difficulty.

My own story - DTM Jen: on the journey to participate in TM for 5 years (according to Toastmasters' old program), and only 1 more project left, I can achieve DTM, that is 2020. If I don't do that last project, I will have to start over from the beginning of the DTM journey according to the new program. At that time, I decided not to try because I felt that the certificate was not necessary if I had the ability in real life. Even though I think so, I still feel something is confusing, because in my 5-year journey, many people have contributed to it. I realized that I still felt inadequate and did not dare to accept and appreciate the efforts of myself and others during those 5 years. At that moment, Toastmasters members encouraged me to complete that journey - and created opportunities for me to do necessary projects on the DTM journey. And that experience further affirmed the power of community – for each other.

Lesson from MC Tony: to have the best speech, forget about making it the best, but be the best - face the 'darkness' - the things you haven't realized yet - with the support and suggestions of people who believe in themselves.

Lesson from Hieu Phung - giving value on the journey to achieving your goals. Hieu implemented the DTM project and created value for nearly 100 participants today and will soon be the children in the school building project, thank you Hieu.

Thank you to those of you who have accompanied and created the story of DTM, MC Tony, and Hieu Phung today; and your story.

May we continue to live every day to create a story worth living!

SUPER SUNDAY NOTES - THE 2 STRANGE GIRLS AND THE TWO 'OFTEN MET' COUPLE

The ‘NATURE’ of the two 'strange little girls’ CONNECTED me with the 'often-met' couple

#SuperSunday #Notes #SuperNewWeek

I am sitting in my favorite coffee shop and writing. I could feel someone from my right side staring at me for a while. I looked over and saw a little girl - about 5-6 years old - smiling and looking at me. Seeing me looking, the little girl immediately dropped to escape.

I replied and stimulated her.

Accompanying this girl, sitting in the next chair was a smaller girl. Seeing me joking with the older girl, the smaller girl also looked at me smiled, and hid under the chair.

I continued writing, then glanced over and teased the two little girls. Every time I looked over, the two girls burst out laughing and hid their faces on the edge of the chair to hide from me. Feeling like the two girls liked to play hide and seek, I occasionally looked over and smiled at the two girls, the two girls laughed and hid their faces.

Just like that about 5 times I looked over, smiled, and the two girls laughed and hid their faces.

Then I wanted to signal that I would focus on my work and not tease the two girls anymore, so I raised my hand 'Hi-Five' to the older girl. She hesitated for 3 seconds then raised her hand to give me a 'Hi-Five' high five. The smaller girl continued to hide, not raising her hand to hit 'Hi-Five'. I didn't give up, just smiled and raised my hand to wait for the smaller girl. Seeing that, the older girl grabbed the little girl's hand to give me a high five.

Then I took my phone and took a photo of the two little girls. The older girl smiled brightly and posed for the photo with her hand in the shape of a heart.

At that same moment, sitting on my left was a talented couple and a beautiful girl - this couple I often saw at the cafe but never talked to or said hello to.

My two sides reflected two perspectives: two little girls, meeting for the first time – and I laughed and joked with them; the couple sitting on the left - met many times but there was a certain energy that made me not feel like saying hi or greeting them, and I could feel the same for them, and we both felt ok in a way.

I returned to focusing on writing. About a moment later, suddenly I heard screams, and loud laughter and someone took my laptop case and ran away. There were some pictures and papers in the laptop bag, so it fell out. The two girls sitting to my right got out of their seats and ran around, then came out to play with me and take my things. My papers fell and almost landed at the feet of the adorable couple.

The boyfriend said 'Hix, everything fell out...', and the girlfriend picked it up and gave it to me. I smiled and thanked the two couples.

So the universe had a solution and let the two girls connect me with the couple, naturally.

Trong túi vỏ laptop, there are some pictures and papers, so nó bị rơi ra.
