‘Our WEEKEND TIME EACH DAY'
#rebirthleaders #jencoaching
Roxi:
“I love weekends.
They’re when I finally get to be with myself.
And sometimes… I don’t really have one.”
Jen:
“What if weekend time
isn’t something you wait for,
but something you create?”
Roxi:
“By actually giving space for it.”
Jen:
“Where does that space already exist in your day?”
Roxi:
“Lunch time.
Or the evening.”
Jen:
“And when does your body feel the most tense?”
Roxi:
“In the afternoon.”
Jen:
“So how could you bring
a little weekend
right there—
inside that tension?”
Roxi (after a pause):
“Meditate.
Or take a walk.”
…
Weekend time is no longer postponed
until Saturday arrives.
It is practiced-
in the middle of the day,
the hour,
the moment.
It begins the moment
we remember ourselves.
In the middle of work,
between meetings,
inside an ordinary afternoon—
there is always a small doorway back home:
a breath,
a walk under trees,
a pause long enough
for the body to soften.
We don’t create weekend time
by escaping life,
but by re-entering it
with presence.
Each day,
we practice returning—
to our bodies,
to what matters,
to one another.
And slowly,
life stops feeling like something to endure
until the weekend arrives,
and becomes something we are already living. 🌱
