Phil: “Are you in Europe?” (Phil texted me when I shared with you a picture of the field)

Me: “In the universe — my hometown.”

Phil: “Anywhere can be that beautiful when you decide to look at it this way.”

Some places are naturally beautiful.

And sometimes, something within us opens us up to seeing more beauty.

The same road.

The same trees.

The same hometown.

A different way of being with them.

This is part of coming home.

Sometimes we travel out to find what is beautiful; other times we travel within every day, being present to see what is already here.

In life, leadership, and building ventures, we can become very focused on what is missing, what needs improving, and what comes next.

We can still create.

We can still grow.

And we can also see what is already alive.

THIS WEEK, WE LOOK DEEPER:

At the place.

At the person.

At ourselves.

At the unexpected things.

At the tiredness.

At the vibrancy.

We can still see the 'not beautiful side,' and we can still look deeper to see the 'beautiful side'.
