“HAVE ALL… AND STILL FEEL SOMETHING MISSING”
(Dường như có đủ tất cả...và luôn thấy thiếu)
#supersundaygratitude #soulconversations
(A conversation between Jen and John – a successful entrepreneur – at a networking event)
Jen: What are you looking for… or maybe missing?
John: Hmmmm…
(Jen stays silent, gently holding the space for a real answer.)
John (smiles awkwardly): Well, maybe I’m missing something — that’s why I’m here, right? I’m looking for business resources…
Jen: Yes, you came here — or to any community — to look for something… but I sense it’s not just that.
(Jen looks at John with curiosity and compassion, inviting a deeper, more honest response.)
John: Hmm. I’m not sure. Maybe we can talk more about it another day?
🌱 That other day came.
John invited Jen for coffee.
And so began their coaching conversation — to explore what John was truly searching for.
John: I was just curious… What made you ask me that question at the event?
Jen: Was that question important to you?
John: I’m not sure. Maybe… I just wondered why you thought I was searching for something. Was it because I always show up alone? Or that I’m still single?
Jen (smiles, then gently replies): Maybe. But more importantly — what made you pause? What about that question lingered with you?
(Silence.)
And then… John began to share.
His story unfolded.
He had started early as an entrepreneur.
Three successful businesses. Financial freedom.
But his romantic life? That was a different story.
Lately, it had even started to affect his work.
He had met many women.
But none seemed to love him for who he really was.
He always felt he had to perform: to be the successful, generous, wise, powerful man.
The women — they demanded more.
But never really saw him.
And he was tired of pretending.
The relationships led nowhere.
And they left him feeling… lonelier.
💡 After a period of coaching, John came to a quiet realization:
The missing piece was not outside him.
It was a belief within him — that he always needed to prove something.
That unless he was strong, smart, successful… he wouldn’t be lovable.
But now, he’s beginning a new journey:
To reconnect with his core values.
To shift the belief that he needs to wear a mask to be accepted.
To trust that the right people will see, feel, and love him — not for his status, but for his essence.
Sometimes, what we’re looking for isn’t more achievements…
It’s a space where we can drop the mask — and finally feel enough.
