Why did I started writing?
I want to give the credit to my eldest sister - the most extraordinary person I have known! I was a naughty kid, I always argued with her and sometimes I felt we would not live in the same planet.
One thing changed the whole course of the relationship between me and her! It is a piece of her writing!
I always saw her write everyday and one day I went to see her but she was not in her studying table. I saw her notebook open that seemed she forgot to close it. The desire to know what was inside of a naughty kid made me open the notebook.
My eyes sparkled! My heart jumped! I was sinking in each wholehearted words of my sister! I didn’t know how hard she had been thinking, how sad she had been felt because of the lost of my relatives, how difficult she had been facing as an oldest sister, how strong she had been and writing had helped her release everything to be strong everyday (I should have known it but I didn’t appreciate it enough I believe).
I felt my heart melt, my ego melt, my naughtiness melt!
I started behaving in a more loving way to her since then! And I started to write everyday! And it has been almost 30 years that I write everyday to just thanks to life and especially thanks to my sister!
And I truly believe your writing may also change your life and someone’s life as my sister’s writing did to me! I am looking forward to reading your writing one day!
CREATIVE WRITING COURSE
This course was made to help you find that inner writer. Also, that is why finding out why you want to write will aid you in being a better writer.
I will walk you step by step to write to achieve 4 different purposes of creative writing:
INFORMATION: Writers will learn how to put information into their work and put it in a way that is clear and concise. It talks about the many reasons why an author may want to share information to the reader and how to remind the writer what they should appear in the writing as well as develop proper writing habits. There will be opportunities for you to try some assignments of International English exams such as Ielts so you can apply what you have learned.
ENTERTAINMENT: We will define creative writing and entertainment along with some of its elements. There are examples of entertainment that will be familiar to readers so that they can learn how to use them in everyday writing.
PERSUASION: This lesson focuses on the persuasive aspect of writing. Writers will learn what persuasion means in writing and how to persuade a reader using the modes of persuasion (ethos, pathos, or logos). Examples will follow each mode of persuasion as well as a writing prompt using one of the modes of persuasion. This can help the writer meet their goal of trying to get the reader to see from their perspective. This can be used for speech purposes as well.
CHANNELING EMOTION: This lesson talks about how to channel emotions from author to reader. Emotions include happiness, anger, or sadness depending on what the writer is writing about. It will show students (or people who want to improve their writing) how to do it successfully. Different methods include telling a joke, using a metaphor, telling a story, or simply using words to create the atmosphere. There are a few examples (for metaphor and storytelling) as well as a writing prompt.
This can be used for speeches as well.
