NEXT LEADERS™ · Global Youth Leadership

Become the leader your future is already asking you to be.

A global leadership-development journey helping young people understand themselves, use their voice, build disciplined habits, create with others, and turn their potential into real contribution through the 7Cs.

For driven secondary-school, high-school, university, and emerging young leaders.

Jen VuHuong with community members holding leadership books, with the message What We Appreciate Expands
Leadership begins before position.

It begins with how you understand yourself, use your voice, keep your commitments, work with others, and create value.

Your Potential Needs Practice

You do not need a title to begin leading.

You may already have ambition, ideas, and a desire to contribute. NEXT LEADERS gives you the environment, habits, mentorship, and real experiences to turn that drive into leadership.

How can I speak with confidence and still be myself?
How do I turn my ideas into something real?
How can I prepare to lead across cultures and uncertainty?
Young people should not have to wait until adulthood to discover that their voice, ideas, and contribution matter.

The Leadership Framework

Seven capacities for leading yourself, others, and the future

The 7Cs are developed together through reflection, speaking, habits, teamwork, projects, and real-world contribution.

C

Confidence

Trust yourself enough to speak, decide, learn, and begin.

C

Competence

Build the skills to solve meaningful problems and deliver real results.

C

Communication

Express ideas clearly, listen deeply, and create understanding.

C

Creativity

Question assumptions and imagine possibilities beyond the obvious.

C

Collaboration

Create with different people through trust and shared leadership.

C

Commitment

Turn intention into disciplined action, responsibility, and follow-through.

C

Compassion

Lead with empathy, ethics, inclusion, and responsibility for impact.

Four Fields of Practice

One journey. Four ways leadership becomes real.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers before you apply

Who can apply?

Driven young individuals, including secondary-school students, high-school students, university students, and emerging professionals. Each cohort publishes its specific age range, language, location, and readiness criteria.

Do I need previous leadership experience?

No formal title is required. Curiosity, initiative, responsibility, willingness to practise, and desire to contribute are more important than previous positions.

Is the programme delivered in English?

NEXT LEADERS may be delivered in English, Vietnamese, or bilingually depending on the cohort. Global pathways include meaningful English-language and cross-cultural practice.

Do I need to wake up at 5:34AM?

Not necessarily. The 5:34AM philosophy is adapted to age, health, school schedules, and time zones. Its purpose is intentional habit-building, not sleep deprivation.

Will this help with university applications?

The journey may help participants build communication skills, leadership evidence, projects, reflection, and a portfolio. It does not guarantee admission or replace specialist application advice.

Is NEXT LEADERS online or in person?

The programme may be online, in person, or hybrid depending on the cohort, school partnership, location, and project design.

Will I complete a real project?

Project-based practice is central. The scope depends on age, programme duration, mentor availability, and delivery format.

Are scholarships available?

Supported places may be available for selected cohorts. The exact coverage, eligibility, and selection criteria are stated clearly before applications open. No unconfirmed travel or financial support is promised.

What is expected from participants?

Regular attendance, respectful participation, honest reflection, completion of agreed practices, teamwork, and responsibility for one’s project and commitments.

What happens after the programme?

Participants may continue through alumni circles, advanced projects, speaking and innovation events, mentoring, community contribution, or future NEXT LEADERS pathways.
